George Hodgkinson in October 2008 gave a talk at Suffolk Mid District Council on “The Apples and Orchards of Suffolk “, which describes the history of orchards in Suffolk and the origin of apples raised in Suffolk .He has given in May 2009 an orchard tour and talk on Suffolk Heritage Orchards to the Babergh District Council tree wardens as well as talks to local gardening clubs.
